Thank you

Can I personally thank ALL parents, coaches and of course the swimmers who mucked in yesterday and made the event what it was.

Thank you for all donations of food, drink and prizes for the raffle. Once again our buffet was the talk of the steamie!

An extra “big” thank you to our compere extrodinaire who also provided the pa system. You did a grand job and we could hear every word perfectly.

I have a pair of flippers if anyone has lost a pair.

There are still some EDLC raffle tickets if anyone wants some can you let me know.

FINALLY – Remember to put the Award dance date of the 2nd of February in your diaries. More details to follow.

Laser Tag Christmas Party 2017

This year our Club Captain has been hard at work organising a new, fun activity for our swimmers as part of the Christmas Fun.

Sarah has organised for 30 lucky swimmers to attend a Laser Tag party for Scotia’s Christmas Fun Night!

Unfortunately we are limited to only 30 spaces but don’t worry as the coaches will be putting on their annual  “pool party” fun night closer to Christmas and everyone is invited (date TBC).

Please see below for details of the Laser Tag party and how to attend:

WHERE: Laser station @ Intu Brehead.

WHEN: Friday 15th December @ 6pm (must arrive by 5:45pm)

WHATS INCLUDED: 2 x 20 minute games of laser tag, a ride on the dodgems, something to eat and drink, Christmas treats (including a Santa hat) and a prize for the winner! PHEW!

COST: £10.99pp (cash or cheque MUST be handed to Lindsay Hunter before the 15th!)

HOW DO I SIGN UP: On Monday 4th December between 18:30 – 19:30, Grace Gill at the Scotia shop will have a register, if your child wishes to attend their name MUST be added to this list (no email request or late entries will be accepted!) if the number of swimmers exceeds the limit of 30, all names will be placed into a hat and 30 will be randomly selected.

NOTE: If your child is selected payment must be placed into a sealed envelope with your child’s name & “Laser Tag” clearly written on it.   Do not pass on any money to other coaches/committee members other Lindsay Hunter.

The list of swimmers will be posted onto the club website by Wednesday 6th December.

FINALLY – A big thank you to Sarah for organising such a fun evening!
